Friday April 11th. 1925 , Offlae of the "Board of 'Public. Safety; <br />.174- meeting-called t4' order at 6 f. III. All members being present; <br />minutes of previous . meeting were read and approved, <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT:- <br />Motion prevailed that Castile De Vleeschouer, of <br />the fire department be granted a.leave of absence for 69 days. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:: <br />- <br />REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. <br />Requisisiotn numhered 472 to 483 inclusive were approved. <br />Supt. Qualls, presented weekly report for the week ending <br />April 9th. 1925. <br />WEIGHTS & MEASURE DEPARTMENT:- <br />Reed I. Hawthorne presented monthly report for the month of <br />March and weekly report for the week ending April 10th. 1925. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: <br />REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. <br />Numbers 2028 to 2056 inclusive were approved. <br />Motion prevailed that the bonds of =the following officers, <br />Frank SzAmecki, Opal Howenstein, Rex Risher an.d Fred F. Miller, <br />for One thous-sand dollars ($1,000.00 ) each and. the National Surety.'Co.., <br />as surety were approved. <br />Motion prevailed that the application of Harr -y L. Pilgrim, for <br />a position in the Police Department was accepted and orderer placed <br />on file. , <br />Mo n pre d to adjourn:- <br />ATTE T:- 7 'RESIDENT OF mHE BOARD. <br />CLERK. Qualls, being sick. <br />WEIGHTS & M,YASURE DEPARTMENT:- . <br />REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. <br />.25 -- Spouting. 26 -- Paint. 27 -- Use of auto for the Mo. of April. <br />POLICE DEPARTMNET <br />REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. <br />Numbers 2057 to 2066 inclusive were approved. <br />Motion prevailed that the applications of Davey Mc Cormick, Maynard <br />S. Parker, D. A. Martin and L. J. Dodge, for position in the police <br />department were accepted and ordered. placed on file. <br />Motion prevailed that the resigination of Hermand. G. Schricker,. <br />be accepted same taking effect April 13th. 1925.. <br />Officer Ray E. Kile, appeared before the Beard and was requested <br />to eiiplain reasons for non payment of several old bills -Piled with the <br />board and he was ordered to pay the clerk of the Board at the rate of <br />$5.)0 each payday until all bills filed are paid in full with interest <br />on note due. <br />Motion prevailed that the following officers beppremoted to the <br />rank of Seaggants officer . John Steinburg and. Louis H. Mellke. <br />_ same to take effect at once. <br />Motion prevailed to adjourn. <br />At at:- v` PRSSDENT OF THE BO'&IMDO <br />CLERK OP THE BOARD. <br />
