Main Street surface parking lot (located on the corner of Main and Jefferson Streets) is in <br />need of repair. In fact, the License Auditor of the City of South Bend has inspected the lot and <br />determined there are trip hazards throughout the parking lot with holes and loose asphalt material. <br />The License Auditor has approved a Public Parking Facility licenses contingent upon the repairs. <br />AMPCO, the Management Company for the Parking Lots and City Garages has obtained three <br />proposals for the repair work. The highest quote is $13,450.00 and the lowest is $9,165.00. <br />Staff is asking approval of the lowest quote of $9,165.00 submitted by Arnt Asphalt Inc. <br />Repair work will commence immediately upon your approval. <br />Staff recommends approval in the amount of 59,165.00 not to exceed $10,000.00 for the repair of <br />225 S.
