The Commission had previously <br />approved moving forward with the design and construction planning for Phase 1A <br />of the stadium improvement project. <br /> <br />Project 1 relates specifically to Field Lighting, Field Wall Pads and Backstop <br />Netting. These three items are in the process of being quoted through the South <br />Bend of Public Works and it is anticipated that quotes will be received by the <br />Board on March 15, 2010. The project, based on engineers estimate, should not <br />exceed $750,000, depending on the options that are most appropriate for the <br />project. This approval is necessary to authorize funding to allow for the quotes to <br />be awarded on March 15th and allow Project 1 to move forward as soon as <br />possible. <br /> <br />As part of Exhibit A of the Addendum, staff recommends a not-to-exceed budget <br />amount of $750,000.00 for Project 1. <br /> <br />Staff requests approval of Resolution 2659 and the Addendum To Master <br />Agency Agreement for the Coveleski Stadium Improvements Phase 1A, Project <br />1. <br /> <br /> <br />
