The purpose of this lease is to provide office space to <br /> accommodate the City's waterworks utility administrative offices at 209 North Main Street, South <br /> Bend, Indiana 46601.The relevant terms of the lease agreement are as follows: <br /> • Lease was approved by Board of Public Works at a public meeting on August 22,2017 <br /> • Space has been leased by the City since August 1, 2009 <br /> • Yearly rent of$52,450.50 with slight increases for Years 2 and 3 <br /> • Lease allows for early termination with minimal consequences should the City elect to <br /> relocated or construct a new facility for the waterworks utility administration <br /> I will present this resolution to the Council at its Committee meeting and at its regular meeting <br /> on August 28,2017. <br /> Thank you for your attention to this request.
