RESOLUTION NO. 206-69 <br /> RESOLUTION OF LOCAL GOVERNING BODY <br /> APPROVING CHANGES IN BUDGET, WORK <br /> PROGRAM AND ADMINISTRATIVE STRUCTURE <br /> ON COMPREHENSIVE CITY DEMONSTRATION <br /> PROGRAM. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana. , on March 26, 1968, <br /> resolved to undertake a comprehensive city demonstration program <br /> to rebuild or revitalize blighted and deteriorating areas and generally <br /> improve conditions for the people who live in such areas; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development has <br /> authorized the City of South Bend, Indiana, to embark on a program <br /> pursuant to Title I of the Demonstration Cities and Metropolitan Develop, <br /> ment Act of 1966 to make grants to, and contract with, City Demonstra- <br /> tion programs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Secretary has authorized a lessor amount for such <br /> program than was previously approved by the Common Council, thereby <br /> necessitating a revised budget, and a revised work program: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Common Council approves <br /> the proposed changes in the budget and work program and the proposed <br /> administrative structure for the comprehensive demonstration program. <br /> l/ 0 <br /> A Memb Of e ommon Council <br /> of the City of So h Bend, Indiana <br /> Adopted this 10th day of March , 1969. <br /> FILED IN CLERK'S VfFh, <br /> 1st & 2nd READING -3-10-69 <br /> COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MAR 6 *1 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING 3—k0-69 <br /> 3;d READING KATHRYN L.
