RESOLUTION NO. 207-69 <br /> RESOLUTION RELATIVE TO IMPROVEMENT <br /> PROGRAM IN AN AREA OF THE SOUTHEAST <br /> PART OF THE CITY. <br /> WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Analysis recently prepared by the <br /> Area Plan Commission, recommends various governmental action <br /> to arrest blight and deterioration within the City of South Bend, and <br /> WHEREAS, said Neighborhood Analysis designates the general area <br /> south of the central business as requiring immediate attention, and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Common Council recognizes that a program should <br /> be undertaken to rehabilitate and renew this area: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Common Council requests the Redevelopment <br /> Commission to initiate steps to investigate and develop an Application <br /> for a Neighborhood Development Program covering the general area <br /> located south of the central business district with priority consideration <br /> given to the area generally referred to as the Ohio-Keasey area. <br /> A Member Of The Com on Council <br /> of the City of South Bend, Indiana <br /> Adopted this 10th day of March 19 69 . <br /> 1st & 2nd READING ---3-10-69-10-69 FILED IN CLERK'S OFF <br /> COMMITTEE OF THE WHOM <br /> PUBLIC HEARING 3— 10_69 �R 6 69 <br /> 3rd READING <br /> NOT APPROVED KATHRYN L. r' otj"a,j <br /> REFERRED CITY C(.&-,'y SOL .; IND.3-10-69 <br />
