A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND APPROVING THE ACQUISITION
BY THE DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN
CITY -OWNED PROPERTIES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT
OF THE MONROE - SAMPLE PROJECT AREA.
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend acting by and through
its Board of Public Works has approved the acquisition by the
Department of Redevelopment of certain city -owned properties
located in the Monroe - Sample area for the development of such
area; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Redevelopment has submitted
offers to the Board of Public Works for acquisition of the
properties at the fair market values established by the
Redevelopment Department, in accordance with Indiana Statutes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1. That the following city -owned properties
be approved for acquisition by the Department of Redevelopment
for the development of the Monroe - Sample Area as.authorized by
Indiana Statutes for public purposes at the fair market values
established:
