A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND APPROVING THE AWARD OF CONTRACTS IN EX-
CESS OF $10,000.00 UNDER THE MULTI - FAMILY REHABILI-
TATION PROJECT, TO BE ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE
DIVISION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT:
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend recognizes the need to rehabilitate build -
ings used to house more than five families or individuals; and
WHEREAS, the City has allocated $100,000.00 to fund projects of this type,
under CD81 -118, Multi- family Rehab; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has awarded two contracts under this
program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND:
SECTION I: Approve the following contracts awarded by the Board of Public
Works in excess of $10,000.00:
YWCA - 302 North Lafayette Blvd. $78,000.00
Hope Rescue Mission - 532 South Michigan $22,000.00
SECTION II: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its
adoption by the Common Council and approval th the Mayor.
