There were a total of three solicitations for quotes and only one vendor submitted a formal quote. Based on the fact that Zimmerman Industrial Piping, Inc. was the only responsive quoter and that they were also the low quoter in the informal quoting process, I am requesting that the Board of Public Works award this project to Zimmerman Industrial Piping, Inc. for the quoted amount of $31,885.50. Neither H&G Services nor Centerline Mechanical could or were willing to meet the specification.
