SUBJECT: Funding Request — Chet Waggoner Dr.
As development continues to thrive in Ameriplex at Interstate 80 / 90 on the northwest
side of the City, a new street and utilities need to be built to open more sites on the east
side of Dylan Dr. This paved street would be 28 feet wide and 1,600 feet long with a cul-
de -sac at its end, and include a new water main and sanitary sewer.
This project would open 45 acres for development and spur an estimated $30 million plus
in private investment.
It is expected this project will go to bid the end of July, begin early September, with
completion by the end of this year's construction season.
Staff requests approval of the funding request for Chet Waggoner Dr., in a not -to- exceed
of $650,000.
