Newest Historical Sign to be Unveiled
SOUTH BEND, Indiana – The South Bend Parks & Recreation Department will unveil the

latest in a series of historical signs Wednesday afternoon, September 30 , at 3:00 p.m.
The sign interprets the former Stephenson Mill and will be located adjacent to the
building located along Colfax Avenue between the St. Joseph River and the East Race
Waterway. The sign is the seventh in the series which highlight points of interest along
the East Race Waterway, downtown South Bend.
