AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $99,000 AMONG VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Statement of Purpose and Intent:
In order to assure the efficient and timely utilization of Community Development Block Grant
Funds and to further the implementation of certain community objectives, transfers are needed:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana, as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $99,000 is hereby transferred among accounts as set forth below:
Reduce the following: Amount
1997 Program Income $17,000
96-103 HDC Lease/Purchase 45,000
97-1100 Section 108 Payment 37.000
TOTAL $99,000
Increase the followine: Amount
97-310 CCA Building Rehab $17,000
97-104 HDC REWARD 45,000

97-517 Dismas House Operations 10,000

SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
