ORDINANCE No. aao~s, Passed by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana June 23. 19 97 Attest: Attest: City Clerk Presented by me to the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana June 24, 19 President of Common Council 97 City Clerk Approved and signed by me June 24, 19 97 Mayor ORDINANCE NO. ~X~y-97 An Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana Appropriating Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000) From the Economic Development State Grant Fund (Fund 210) STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT The Common Council of the City of South Bend hereby determines that it is necessary and in the best interest of the City to make certain appropriations from funds within the Economic Development State Grant Fund (fund 210) of the City of South Bend for certain expenses related to determining the feasibility of redeveloping the former Oliver Plow Works site. Said funds will be received from the U.S. Economic Development Administration through an existing Long Term Economic Deterioration Grant agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The sum of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000) is hereby appropriated from the City of South Bend's Economic Development State Grant Fund (fund 210). Said funds will be received by the City of South Bend from the U.S. Economic Development Administration through an existing grant agreement. Said grant requires that these funds be used for certain expenses related to determining the feasibility of redeveloping the former Oliver Plow Works site. Section II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
