HomeMy WebLinkAboutClosing various funds of the city and transferring the balances therein to the General FundORDINANCE No. aas,s~ Passed by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana December 8, 19 ~L Attest: Attest: Presented by me to the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana City Clerk President of Common Council December 9, 19 97 City Clerk Approved and signed by me December 10, 19 97 Mayor ORDINANCE N0. ~~11~ r ~ I AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CLOSING VARIOUS FUNDS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND TRANSFERRING THE BALANCES THEREIN TO THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT The Common Council of the City of South Bend, upon the recommendation of the State Board of Accounts, has determined that there no longer exists a need to segregate certain funds of the City of South Bend and maintain certain separate funds, and that these funds should be closed and their balances transferred to the General Fund of the City of South Bend. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the following funds be closed and the indicated balances, plus all accrued interest, on deposit therein be transferred to the General Fund of the City of South Bend.
