KOLATA DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DTRECTOR Mr. Sean Coleman, President South Bend Common Council 4th Floor, County-City Building South Bend, IN 46601 Dear Mr. Coleman: An ordinance proposing to annex to the City of South Bend contiguous territory, has been filed as the Park Annexation Area. The annexation area is generally located on the north side of Brick Road, west of the St. Joseph Valley Parkway. The annexation will incorporate approximately 19 acres, which will ultimately be bought by the Department of Redevelopment as a condition of the purchase for a much larger piece of property currently being developed as the US 31 Industrial Park. I am requesting that the public hearing (Second Reading) on the ordinance be schedule for August 10,1998. The delay in the Second reading is due to the Fiscal Plan having to be scheduled before the Board of Public Works, the Board of Public Safety and the Board of Water Commissioners. Your favorable recommendation is respectfully requested. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 235-5550. Thank you.
