O’Brien Skate Park Open Daily for Summer
SOUTH BEND, Indiana – O’Brien Skate Park, the regions only all concrete, fully-staffed
th
skate facility will be open daily beginning Tuesday May 26 . The facility is located on
the corner of South Michigan & Walter Streets, just north of Ireland Road. Hours of
operation will be Monday-Saturday, 1 p.m. – 10 p.m., and Sunday 12n – 8 p.m. through

August 16 .
O’Brien Skate Park has over 13,000 sq. ft. of area for both skate boarding and roller
blading. A variety of rails, ramps, and bowls await everyone from the beginner to the
skilled veteran. Admission to the facility is $3 Monday-Friday, and $4 Saturday &
Sunday.
Also, there are skate camps throughout the summer for all skill levels. Fees include
healthy morning snack & drink, and a t-shirt. Each session runs Monday-Friday 9 am-
12n, and the fee is $75/wk. Skate lessons are also available Saturday mornings, June 6
th
– July 11. The annual Sk8 Competition is slated for Saturday, August 15 .
