AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $26,374 FROM THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STATE
GRANT FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF ASSISTING IN THE SUPPORT OF THE DIVISION OF
BUSINESS ASSISTANCE'S ADMINISTRATIVE BUDGET
Statement of Puroose and Intent:
In order to assist in the provision of business assistance services for the community, monies from
Fund 210 will be used to support the administrative budget for the Division of Business Assistance:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINEDby the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $26,374 is hereby appropriatedfrom the City of South Bend's Economic
Development State Grant Fund (Fund 210) to be used by the Division of Business Assistance to assist in
the support of that division's 1999 administrative budget.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the
Common Council and approval by the Mayor.

should have taken place last fall as it was part of the overall division budget approved by the Council last
September. This does not represent an increase to the division's 1999 budget.
