Jefferson Boulevard South Bend, IN 46601 RE: Ordinance No. 9051-99 Property Located on Calvert Street between Kaley Street & New Energy Drive Dear Mr. Coleman: It has come to our attention that the above referenced ordinance, passed by the Common Council on November 8, 1999, contained two scrivener's errors. These errors are located in line one of Section I where the word ordinance is incorrectly spelled "ordnance" and in the last line of Section I where the zoning classification designation "A" did not precede the word "Residential". I have spoken with Kathy Cekanski-Farrand about this matter. It is her opinion that a new public hearing is not necessary because the record is clear that the rezoning was to "A" Residential. It is her opinion that all that is needed is action on a corrected ordinance. Enclosed is a copy of the incorrect ordinance with the errors circled and a corrected ordinance for action by the Common Council. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
