REQ'ULAR MEETING
The Board of Public Safety met in the regular meeting at 9.-15 a. m, on Wednesday, February 4,2009,
with President Juanita Dempsey and Board Members Donald Alford, Patrick Cottrell, Bruce
Bon'Durant and Jack Reed present. Also present were Pofice Chief Darryl Boykins Fire Chief
Howard Buchanon, and Board Attorney Thomas Bodnar.

ACCEPT MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS
President Dempsey advised that if there were no objections by members of the Board, the minutes of
the Public Agenda Session, Executive Session, and Regular meetings of the and held on January

ACCEPT AND FILE DONATIONS TO SOUTH BEND POLICE DEPARTMENT
Chief Boykins, Police Department, advised the Board of a generous donation made to the South
Bend Police Department Tennis Program of two (2) wheelchairs, given by Memorial Hospital. and
two (2) wheelchairs given by the South Bend Clinic, to start a wheelchair tennis program. There
being no further discussion, the donations were accepted and filed,
There being no further business to come before the Board, President Dempsey declared the meeting
adjourned at 9:18 am.
