RICHARD C. DOMBROWSKI FOR PIS SEven YEARS
OF DEDICATED SERVICE AS A COUNCILMAN-AT-LARCE

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend , Indiana , %
recognizes that Richard C. Dombrowski has diligently served the �;`,
citizens of our City since 1976; and
WHEREAS, during this period of time, Councilman Dombrowski w4 tqt
has earned the reputation of speaking out on behalf of his constitutents 'f ,-
on critical issues ; and y

WHEREAS, the Common Council recognizes with pride some of
Councilman Dombrowski's many contributions such as: co-sponsoring the le f
ordinance calling for citizen members on Council committees, sponsoring
the abandoned vehicle bill, sponsoring the scrap and junk yard law,
sponsoring the truck route law, sponsoring the food vending law
requiring safety flashers on all such vehicles, and sponsoring the
Bill requiring licensing of automotive repair and service centers. `
WHEREAS, the Common Council. will long remember Councilman !
Dombrowski' s work as "Inter and Master" of the ad hoc junk yard 4y
Committee and the heatf debates where the neighbors interests were • t-b
being balanced against ;businesses, n>, f

WHEREAS, the Common Council further will remember Councilman �,
Dombrowski as a dedicated public servant who is extremely proud of ` "< ,a

his Polish ancestry.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City :4
of South Bend, Indiana as follows: v.,,
SECTION I. On behalf of the citizens of South Bend , Indiana, i gi
the Common Council hereby publicly commends and thanks Councilman -i

SECTION II. The Common Council publicly acknowledges
Councilman Dombrowski' s many contributions to help improve the quality ) ,
