A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION APPOINTING A DIRECTOR TO THE
BLACKTHORN OWNERS' ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission") is the
governing body of the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment (the "Department") and
exists and operates under the provisions ofI.C. 36-7-14, commonly known as the "Redevelopment
of Cities and Towns Act of 1953," as amended from time to time; and
WHEREAS, Section 6.5 of the Declaration of Protective Covenants & Restrictions of the
Blackthorn Corporate Park provides that a Board of Directors consisting of three (3) directors shall
be appointed by the Commission, subject to certain conditions, to manage the Owners' Association
at Blackthorn, Inc. (the "Association"); and
WHEREAS, due to the impending expiration of the current term of Gregory Downes on
December 31, 2015, the Commission desires to re-appoint Gregory Downes to a further three-year
term on the Board of Directors of the Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission
as follows:
1. The Commission hereby appoints Gregory Downes to serve on the Board of
Directors of the Association for a term of three (3) years, ending on December 31, 2018.
2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its adoption by the
Commission.
ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held
on November 12, 2015, at 1308 County-City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend,
Indiana 46601.
