Silver Hawks to Defend Silver vs. Gold Title
SOUTH BEND, IN – South Bend Silver Hawks President, Joe Kernan, was joined by
Silver Hawks Field Manager, Mark Haley, and University of Notre Dame head baseball coach,

Dave Schrage, to announce the 2 Annual Silver vs. Gold Exhibition Game.
The Silver Hawks and Notre Dame will play on Tuesday, April 7 at Coveleski Stadium.
First pitch is slated for 5:30 p.m. and gates will open at 4:30 p.m. The exhibition game will be a
fundraiser with a portion of the proceeds going to the Ara Parseghian Medical Research
Foundation to fight Niemann-Pick Type C. The Silver Hawks defeated the Irish five to three last
year.
This year’s event includes post-game festivities for fans of all ages. Fans will be invited
onto the field following the game for an autograph session with Silver Hawks and Notre Dame
players and coaches. Fans will also have the chance to run the bases and play catch in the
outfield.
Tickets for the Silver vs. Gold, along with all 70 regular season Silver Hawks home
games, will go on sale Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets will be available online at
SILVERHAWKS.com, at the Coveleski Stadium Box Office and over the phone at 574-235-
9988.
Ticket prices for Silver vs. Gold are $10 for box seats and $6 for reserved seats. College
students receive a $2 discount with valid student ID.
