Howard Park 50 Anniversary Celebration Saturday
SOUTH BEND, Indiana – the South Bend Parks & Recreation Department will be having
th
a celebration to mark the 50 Anniversary of the Howard Park complex on Saturday,

January 31. The event runs from 1:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. with a special price of .50 each
for admission, skate rental, hot cocoa, and popcorn at the Skating Rink. There will be
free face painting, a balloon artist, and door prizes. There will also be an open house
at the Senior Center, and either a snowman making contest or snow angel contest
(depending on snow ability to pack) with judging at 3:30. Fiddler’s Hearth will be on
site with a variety of foods to purchase as well.
