An Ordinance requiring the New York Central
Railway Company to keep a flagman, or watchman,
at the crossing of South Walnut Street and West
Division Street, in the City of South Bend,
Indiana, for 24 hours of each dEy.
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend,. Indiana, that
SECTION I .
From .nd after April 1/4"; 1927 , the New York
Central Railway Company, be , and the same is
hereby, required to maintain a flagman, or watch-
man, at the intersection of its right-o4'-way at
South Walnut Street and West Division Street, in
the City of South Bend, Indiana, for and during
the entire 24 hour period of each day.
SECTION II.
Any violation of the foregoing ordinance shall
subject said Railway Company to a penalty of not
less than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each days

SECTION III.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after said date in Lpril 1927 and proper
legal publication thereof.
