ORDINANCE NO. X 6 6-5-:
( 15) An Ordinance fixing the Tax Levy for the year of
1927 for the Municipal Civil City of South Bend,
Indiana.
Section 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: That there be and hereby is
levied the following amo*nts for the year 1927 on each One
Hundred ($100.00) Dollars of assessed valuation of property
in the City of South Bend, Indiana as fixed by the officers of
St. Joseph County and of the State of Indiana, for the objects
named: 1

Section 2. There shall be levied a Poll Tax of
Fifty Cents on every male inhabitant of said City, sane and not
a pauper, of the age of Twenty—one years and not over the age
of fifty. years.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force
