RESOLUTION NO. I277-gC
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT AN
APPLICATION FOR THE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT
GRANT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
is the Chief Executive Officer of the City and is the applicant
for funds made available through the United States Housing Act
( the Act) . The Housing Development Grant Program is authorized
by the Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council
of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION I . That the Mayor of the City of South Bend,
Indiana is hereby authorized to submit the Housing Development
Grant Program application to the United States Department of
Housing and Urban Development.
SECTION II . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption by the Common Council and
approved by the Mayor.
