Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council
2015
The October 19, 2015 Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council was called
to order by Council President Tim Scott at 5:00 p.m. in the Council's Informal Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Tim Scott, Henry Davis, Jr., Dr. Fred
Ferlic, Dr. David Varner, and Karen L. White; and special Council Attorney Robert Palmer
Council President Scott noted that the Executive Session was called pursuant to the
Notice dated October 14, 2015 (attached) which states in part that the meeting is being held
pursuant to Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-6.1 (b)(2)(B) for the discussion of strategy with respect to
pending litigation filed against the City of South Bend, the South Bend Common Council, etc.
This is to certify that the only subject matter discussed at this Executive Session was that
contained in the October 14, 2015 "Notice of Executive Session".
Council President Scott adjourned the meeting at approximately 5:45 p.m.

RE: NOTICE OF EXECUTIVE SESSION
An EXECUTIVE SESSION of the South Bend Common Council will be held on Monday,October
19, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting Room, 4th Floor County-City Building,
South Bend, Indiana.
This Executive Session is being called pursuant to Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(2)(B) for the
discussion of strategy with respect to pending litigation or litigation which has been threatened in
writing.
