RESOLUTION NO. /56 )-ar
A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND COMMON COUNCIL
PURSUANT TO IC 36-1 -7-1 ET SEQ,
FURTHER AMENDING THE AMENDED CHARTER AGREEMENT
OF THE ST. JOSEPH COUNTY JOB TRAINING PROGRAM,
AUTHORIZING ITS BOARD TO MEET QUARTERLY.
WHEREAS, in 1983 the Common Council of the City of South Bend
passed a Resolution approving the Amended Charter Agreement with the
St. Joseph County Job Training Program, authorizing the City of South
Bend to enter into such Agreement for and upon the behalf of the City
of South Bend ; and
WHEREAS, the St. Joseph County Job Training Program has been
running well and efficiently since September, 1983 ; and
WHEREAS, the Board of the St. Joseph County Job Training
Program believes that it does not need to meet as frequently as
originally anticipated when the Program was set up.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend that :
SECTION 1 . The Amended Charter Agreement of the St. Joseph
County Job Training Program, a copy of which is attached hereto , and
made a part hereof as Exhibit "A" , is hereby approved by the South Bend
Common Council .
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval , all as provided by law.
