A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, RECOGNIZING THE
OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF JESSE L. DICKINSON.
WHEREAS , Jesse L. Dickinson contributed significantly to •
his community throughout his lifetime; and
WHEREAS , he set standards for excellence in all his
endeavors to serve as a model to others; and
WHEREAS , he was particularly interested in education and
promoted a desire for scholastic achievement in
the young people of this community; and
WHEREAS , the Jesse L. Dickinson Memorial Scholarship Fund
has been established as a tribute and fitting '
memorial to this outstanding citizen. ,
NOW , THEREFORE , WE THE UNDERSIGNED ,
