A Claims Review Meeting of the Board of public Works was convened at 9:02 a.m. on Tuesday,
October 6, 2015, by Board Member David Relos with Board Members Elizabeth Maradik, James
Mueller, and Therese Doran present. Board President Gary Gilot was absent.
APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS SALE OF CITY
PROPERTY— 51190 AND 51270 MAYFLOWER RD
In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. David Relos, Community Investment, requested permission
to advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referenced City -owned property. Mr. Relos
informed the Board that this was advertised previously at the average appraisal price of the two
(2) properties per State law. On July 1, 2015, he explained, the law changed allowing the City to
sell the property for less than the lowest appraisal amount so they have been able to reduce the
price. Therefore, upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Mueller and carded, the
above request was approved.
APPROVE CLAIMS
Ms. Maradik stated that a request to pay claims has been received by the Board; each claim is fully
supported by an invoice; the person receiving the goods or services has approved the claims; and
the claims have been filed with the City Fiscal Officer and certified for accuracy. Ms. Maradik
