• AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 2331
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana.
i` SECTION ONE That Ordinance Number 2331, adopted by the Common
Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, on the 25th day of June, 1923 and i
commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, be EM the same is hereby amended
as follows, to-wit :
Beginning at a point forty teet west of the inter-section of
the south line of Ford Street with the East line of Bank out Lot
99 of the Second flat of out Lots of the Town now City of South
Bend; thence west 112 feet thence south 152.758 feet thence
east 112 feet thence north 152.75 feet to the place of beginning.
Being situated on the north by the south line of West Ford Street
on the East by the west line of the first alley east of the
New York Central Railroad, on the south by the north line
' of the first alley south of Ford Street , and on the vest by the
Illinois division of the New York Central Railroad.
to be changed from "B" Residence district / Height and Area District
to "D" Light Indust±tal "E" Height and Area Districts,
No other provision save and except as to the track herein bounded and
described shall be changed hereby.
SECTION TWO This ordinance shall be in fu- force and effect from and
after its passage and legal publication, .
