An Ordinance to amend Ordinance 2331 , adopted June 25,
1923, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, by changing the
zoning of the following described real estate and territory from
F height and area to G height and area, to-wit;
Commencing at a point betweentilialia and Madison
Streets in the City of South Bend where the alley
extending east and west intersects the east line
of Main Street, running thence east on the north
line of said alley one hundred sixty-five ( 165)
feet to a point where said alley intersects an
alley running north and south; running thence
north on the west line of said alley running north
and south to a point where said alley intersects
the alley extending east and west between West Marion
and West Navarre street.{ running thence west on the
north line of said alley and cont inning across Main
Street on the north line of said alley to a point.
where said alley intersects the alley running north
and south between Main and LaFayette Streets, running
thence south on the east line of said alley extending
between Main and LaFayette Streets and crossing Main
Street to a point where said alley intersects the
alley running east and west betweentand Madison
Streets, running thence east on the north line of
said alley and across Main Street to the place of,`-
beginning.
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend.
SECTION I
That Ordinance 2331, adopted June 25, 1923, be , and the
same is, hereby amended by changing the height and area district
of the following described area from F height and area to G height
and area, to-wit:
Commencing at a point between Maw and Madison
Streets in the City of South Bend where the alley
extending east and west intersects the east line
of Main S. reet, running thence east on the north
line of said alley one hundred sixty-five ( 165)
feet to a point where said alley intersects an
alley running north and south; running thence
north on the west Line of said alley running north
and south to a point where said alley intersects
the alley extending east and west between West Marion
and West Navarre Streets, running thenoe west on the
north line of said alley and continuing aelto9s Main
Street on the north line of said alley to a point
where said alley intersects the alley running north
and south betweel Main and LaFayette Streets, running

thence south on the west Line of said alley extending
between Main and LaFayette Streets and crossing
Street to a point where said alley Intersects the
alley running east and west betweenicaiaind Madison
streets, running thence east on the north Line of
said alley and across Main Street to the place of
beginning.
SECTION .II
That this Ordinance shall be in fall force and effect
