AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND APPROVING A CERTAIN CONTRACT ENTERED
INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE MUNICIPAL- CITY WATER WORKS DEPART-
. MINT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND. INDIANA. AND IRE_ HAY-
WEAVER COMPANY. CONTRACTORS. FOR THE ERECTION AND
CONSTRUCTION QF- A PUMP HOUSE AND TOWER AND
TANK FOUNDATION
• BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend,
Indiana.
SECTION 1.
That a certain contract entered into by and between
the Municipal City Water Works Department of the City of South Bend,
Indiana and the Hay-Weaver Company, of said city, for the erection
and coniruction of a pump house and-tower and tank foundation on a
tract of real estate purchased from Whitcomb and Keller for water
works purposes, which contract is executed in triplicate on February
19, 1929, a copy of which contract is hereto attached, marked Exhibit
"A", and hereby made apart hereof, be and the same is hereby ratified,
confirmed and approved.
SECT-ION
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
