An Ordinance ratifying a certain contract between the City of
South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public Works and the
James B. Clow and Sons for the purchase of Cast Iron Pipe,
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana:
SECTION 1. That a certain contract executed on the 19th day
of February 1929, by and between the City of South Bend, via through its
Board of Public Works for the purchase of One Thousand Five Hundred
(1500) tons of 6" to 24" Cast Iron Water Pipe, Class "C" American Water
Works specifications, with the privilege of increasing or decreasing the
above requirements within a range -of 3O%, all evidenced by a certain
letter from the James B. Clow and Sons, February 18th, 1929, and a resolution
accepting the offer contained in the same letter adopted February 19th, and
that the same as hereby ratified, confirmed and approved.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage.
