« ORDINANCE NO. 790
AN ORDINANCE APPROPIATING THE SUM OF SIXTY-SIX THOUSAND
FOUR HUNDRED THIRTEEN DOLLARS AND SEVEPNTY-FIVE
CENTS ($66,413.75) FROM THE GENERAL FUND
TO VARIOUS FUNDS, ALL AS HEREIN-
AFTER DESIGNATED.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION 1.
That the sum of Three Hundred Twenty-Eight D..=llars and
Seventy-Five cents ($328.75) be and the same is hereby appropriated
from the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana to the
appropriation known as B-6, (Salaries and Wages, Temporary, in the
Finance Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION 2.
That the sum of Ten Thousand One Hundred Twenty-Five
Dollars ($10,125.00) be and the same is hereby appropriated from
the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to the appro-
priation known as B-15, (Interest on General Purpose Bonds) to
defray interest due December 1, 1929 on General Purpose Bonds
issued June 1, 1929, in the Finance Department of the City of
South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION 3.
That the sum of Eight Hundred Dollars ($800.00) be •
and the same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the
City of South Bend, Indiana, to the appropriation known as B-11 A,
(Refunds, awards and indemnities) in the Finance Department of
the City of South Bend, Indiana, to pay cost'of Merry Avenue
sewer, by order of Superior Court #1, Cause #7955, action brought
on by the N . Y. C. Railroad Company against the City of South
• Bend, Indiana.
SECTION 4.
That the sum of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) be and the same
is hereby appropriated from the General Lund of the City of South
Bend, Indiana, to the appropriation known as Account C-6, with
which to pay the bond for the Deputy City Clerk.
SECTION s5.
That the sum of Twelve Hundred Dollars ($1200.00) be and
the same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, to the Department of Public Works, Account
8-18, with which to repair the mouth of the Bartlett Street and
Riverside Drive sewer in said city.
SECTION 6.
That the sum of Two Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty
Dollars ($2940.00) be and the same is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to the Department
•
of the Board of Public Works, Account H-18, for the purpose of
repairing Olive Street pavement at the intersection of Olive Street
and Grace Street in said city.
SECTION 2
That the sum of Six Thousand Dollars ($6000.00) be and
the same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, to the Department of the Board of Public
Works for use in its Air Port Department as follows:
W-12 Services other than contractual 300.00
W-18 Building 4968.55
W-19 Streets and alleys 731.45
SECTION 8
That the sum of Forty-Five Thousand Dollars (645,000.00)
be and the same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of
the City of South Bend, Indians, to the Department of the Board of
Public Works for use in purchasing real estate for a site for fire
station No. Eleven for the north-westerly part of the city and
' for construction of a building thereon, including architectual
fees on same, and for the equipment of the station.
SECTION 9,,
