An ordinance providing for the disbursement of the
monie received by the City of South Bend from the •
State f Indiana from the Gasoline Tax.
Sy�e�ction 1. Be it ordained by the Common Council
of thdGity of South Bend, »Indiana,, that all monies
recalled by the City of Seuth Bend, Indiana from the State
of Indiana from the proceeds of gasoline tax shall be de-
posited to the account of 'the lBoard! of Public Works of 1
said City to be used. by said Board 'in the maintenance and
repair of streets and bridges wtthii the corporate limits
of said City. The said Board - haWgive preference to
State thoroughfares througii :the i City n the use of said
funds but next to the mainte`nance,7and r pair and upkeep
of said main thoroughfares shall use the alanee of said
funds upon the streets an'd highways of s id City in such
places and at such times as may seem necessary to said
Board of Public Works.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
