ORDINANCE N0. g 7 S
-AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES UPON
THE STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND. INDIANA.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION 1,2.
That the parking of vehicles on South Michigan Street,
between South and Monroe Streets, excepting parallel with the curb,
at any hour of the day or night, is hereby prohibited and Section
15 of Ordinance No. 2653 is hereby amended to conform with this
Section of this Ordinance.
SECTION 2.
That the parking of vehicles on the easterly side of
Cushing Street between LaSalle Avenue and Lincoinway West, during
Y
hour of the day or night, is hereby prohibited.
SECTION 3.
That the parking or storing of vehicles of any kind
for exhibition for sale purposes upon the public streets or places
of the City of South Bend is hereby prohibited.
SECTION 4.
That the parking of vehicles on public streets or places
of the City of South Bend, Indiana, in front of any building occupied
or used for business or professional purposes and not regulated by
existing ordinances, is hereby prohibited for a period exceeding three
(3) hours at a time, between 6:00 o'clock A.M. , and 6:00 o' clock P.M.,
of any day of the week excepting Saturday, and on Saturday between the
hours of 6:00 O' clock A.M. , and 9:00 o' clock P.M.
SECTION 5.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and legal publication.
