RESOLUTION NO. 1547-87
A RESOLUTION OF THE CCMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMENDING LILLIE GRADY FOR
HER GAME-WINNING TALLENTS ON CBS
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, notes
that Lillie Grady of South Bend, Indiana, recently visited her son in the Los
Angeles, California area; and
WHEREAS, during this visit Lillie Grady was selected from the studio
audience to compete on "The Price is Right" program on CBS; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council is pleased to note that Lillie Grady won a
total of $3,515.00 on the September 22, 1987 edition as a contestant on the
show; and
WHEREAS, the Cannon Council wishes to commend Lillie Grady for her talent
and good fortune.
NCW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana, as follows:
SECTION I . On behalf of all of the citizens of South Bend, Indiana, the
Common Council hereby publicly commends LILLIE GRADY for being a talented,
game-winning contestant on a recent "Price is Right" program on CBS.
SECTION II . The Common Council wishes LILLIE GRADY continued good
fortune in the years ahead.
SECTION III . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption�by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.#, _
