DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO HOST INFORMATIONAL MEETING
FOR SEWER CONTRACTORS
The Department of Public Works will host an informational meeting for sewer contractors
interested in future bidding opportunities with the City of South Bend on Tuesday, September 22
from 9 to 11 am at South Bend Streets Bureau, 731 S. Lafayette Blvd.
Information will be shared on standards and specifications for submitting bids on various
projects. Companies interested in working with the Department of Public Works will learn how
to participate in the bidding process, about contract compliance, and how to electronically
download required forms and documents.
Information will also be provided on how a business can register as a minority and women's
business enterprises (MBE /WBE) subcontractor.
Those interested in participating in the informational meeting should register by Monday,
September 21 at tswift @southbendin.gov.
