15 ORDINANCE NO. I r0 /
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FIFTEEN HUNDRED AND
FIFTY-NINE DOLLARS AND THIRTY-FIVE CENTS FROM THE
GENERAL FUND TO THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT.
KNOWN AS B-11-a REFUNDS. AWARDS AND INDEM-
NITIES. WITH WHICH TO REIMBURSE PRESENT
AND FORMER CITY TREASURER.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of L
South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION L
That the sum of Seven Hundred and Thirty-four Dollars
and Twenty-one Cents ($734.21) be and the same is hereby appropriated
from the General Fund to the Finance Department Account known as
B-11a Refunds, Awards and Indemnities, with which to reimburse George
A. Swintz, City Treasurer,—for penalties on delinquent improvement
accounts collected by said Treasurer deposited into General Fund of
said City. - /
SECTION 2. _�
That the sum of Eighundred and Twenty-five Dollars and
Fourteen Cents ($825.14) be and the same is hereby appropriated from
the General Fund to the Finance Department Account, known as B-11a
Refunds, Awards and Indemnities, with which to reimburse Duncan J.
Campbell, former City Treasurer, for penalties on delinquent improve-
ment accounts collected by said Treasurer deposited into General
Fund of said City.
Both said appropriations in accordance with the direction
of the State Board of Accounts.
SECTION. 3.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effectfrom and
after its passage and legal publication and hearing.
