WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of South
Bend has made a contract for investigation and report pertaining
to sewerage disposal in the City of South Bend, and the pollution
of the St. Joseph River, to Burns and McDonnell of Kansas City,
Missouri, and W. Si Moore of South Bend, Indiana, which contract
is subject to the approval of this Council;
, be it and it is hereby ordained by the Common
Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION 1. That said contract made and entered into by
and between the City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through its
Board of Public Works, as party of the first part, and Burns and
McDonnell and W. S. Moore, as parties of the second part, a copy of
which contract is attached hereto, be and the same is in all things
ratified, confirmed and approved.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
