ORDINANCE NO.
AND aXTENDING POLK STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That Polk Street be extended one block
South from Jefferson Boulevard to Wayne Street, and that
the public thoroughfare which is a continuation of Polk
Street from Jefferson Boulevard South to Wayne Street, and
hitherto known as an alley, be henceforth made a part of and
designated as Polk Street in the City of South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION 2. Be it further ordained that numbers be
given such buildings as are erected on said Street between
Jefferson Boulevard and Wayne Street to correspond with the
numbers of other streets running North and South between
Jefferson Boulevard and Wayne Street in the City of South
Bend.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect fro and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
