The December 8, 2008 meeting of the Utilities Committee of the South Bend Common Council
was called to order by its Chairperson, Oliver Davis at 4:28 p.m. in the Council's Informal Meeting
Room.
Committee Members in attendance included Council Members Ann Puzzello, Thomas
LaFountain, AI "Buddy" Kirsits, Citizen Member Tim Hudak
Other Councilmember's Present: David Varner, Timothy Rouse, Henry Davis, Jr.
Others present were: Kathy Cekanski-Farrand, Jamie Loo, Rita Kopala, Carl Littrell, Mayor
Stephen Luecke

Chairperson Oliver J. Davis, asked Gary Gilot the Director of Public Works to give the Utilities
Committee a brief overview of the City's Municipal Utilities.
Gary Gilot provided a handout outlining various ongoing projects in public works. The outline
which he added comments and answered questions from Councilmember's is attached.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, Chairperson, Oliver J. Davis
adjourned the meeting at 4:40 p.m.
