AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FO

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C01AMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That all monies rece, ed by the City of
South Bend, Indiana from the State of Indiana` "f from the proceeds
of gasoline tax shall be deposited to the account of the Board
of Public Works of said City, to be used by said Board in the
maintenance and repairs of streets and bridges within the coreperate
limits of said City. The said Board shall give preference to State
thoroughfares through the City in the use of said funds, but next
to the maintenance and repair and upkeep of said main thoroughfares
shall use the balance of said fund upon the streets and highways of
said City in such places and at such times as may seem necessary to
said Board of Public Works.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
