BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COuidCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That the Burn of Two Hundred Seventy -five Thousand-
Three hundred Eighty -nine Dollars and Thirty -nine Cents ($275,389.39)
be appropriated from the General Fund of the City of South Bend,
Indiana, to the Track Removal Fund of said city, for the purpose
of paying the Grand Trunk Western Railroad Company for track re-
moval from Western avenue (formerly Division Street) and for join-
ing lines with the New York Central Railroad Company, in said
city, under and pursuant to contract.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
after due publication, hearing, passa4 -e b,, the Common Council and-
approval by the Mayor.
