LINCOLN WAY WEST CLOSED OVERNIGHT BETWEEN BENDIX DRIVE AND ARDMORE TRAIL
South Bend Water Works will close Lincoln Way West between Bendix Drive and Ardmore
Trail starting at 7:00 tonight, Monday, June 17. The purpose is to fix a leak in a water main
service pipe.
Work will be conducted overnight, possibly opening to one lane in the east/west direction in the
morning. Drivers are encouraged to avoid this stretch of road on Tuesday, June 18.
Depending on the extent of the leak, the project may take a total of three to five days to repair.
Below is a map of the recommended detour route. Westbound drivers are encouraged to go
southwest on Ardmore Trail, north on Bendix Drive, and west on Lincoln Way West. Eastbound
drivers are encouraged to go south on Bendix Drive, northeast on Ardmore Trail, to Lincoln Way
West.
