MAYOR BUTTIGIEG HOSTS STUDENT SCHOLAR RECEPTION
Mayor Pete Buttigieg will host the annual Student Scholar Reception on Monday, June 3 at 4:00
p.m. at the Studebaker National Museum, 201 S. Chapin Street.
Valedictorians, salutatorians, National Merit Scholarship finalists, and students honored by a
variety of national organizations representing all six South Bend high schools Adams, Clay,
Riley, Washington, Saint Joseph's, and Trinity are invited with their families to celebrate their
academic accomplishments.
"The achievements of South Bend's best and brightest students are inspiring," Mayor Buttigieg
says. "Our community should take note of their impressive achievements in our public and
private schools and concentrate on creating good jobs so that they can find their future right
here in South Bend."
