ORDINANCE NO. �f 0 °2
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND THE INDIANA AND MICHIGAN
ELECTRIC COMPANY.
Whereas, heretofore on the 26th day of June, 1933, the City of
South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public works,
pursuant to a resolution duly adopted, made and entered into
the contract with the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company, its
successors and assigns, which contract is attached hereto and pade
a part of this ordinance.
AND, whereas, said contract has been submitted to the Division of
Public Service Commission of the Department of Commerce and Industry
of the State of Indiana, and approved by it on the 30th day of
June, 1933,
And whereas, said contract is now submitted to the Common Council
of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for its due approval by ordinance.
SECTION 1. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana, that the dttached.contract, made and
entered into on the 26th day of June, 1933, between the said
City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public
Works md fthy fterk-and Indiana and Michigan Electric Company, its
successors and assigns, be and the same is hereby in all things
ratified, confirmed and approved.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval
