ORDINANCE NO 3D Y //-
An Ordinance ratifying a certain contract between the City
of South Bend, Indians, by and through its Board of Public
Works, and The Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Company,
South Bend, Indiana, for the purchase of Cast Iron Pipe.
Be it ordained by the Common Council Of
the City of South Bend, Indiana;
SECTION 1. That a certain contract executed
on the twenty-second (22) day of December, 1933s, V and between
the City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of
Public Works for the purchase of Four Hundred and Fifty (450)
tons of 6" and 810 Cast Iron Water Pipe, Class "O" American Water
Works specifications, with the privilege of increasing or decreasing
the above requirement within a range of 30°%, all as evidenced by a
certain letter, herewith attached, from The Standard Sanitary
Manufacturing Company, dated December twenty —third (23)9 19339, and
a resolution accepting the offer contained in the same letter
adopted January eighth (8), 1934, and that the same is hereby
ratified, confirmed and approved*
