The Board of Public Safety met in the Executive Session on Mondays July 13, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. The
meeting was held in the L3th Floor Conference Room, County City Building, 227 West Jefferson
Blvd., South Bend, Indiana for the purposes specified in I.C. 5- 14- 1.5- 6.1(b)(6)(A). Board President
John Collins, and Board Members Eddie Miller, Luther Taylor, and Daniel Jones were present Also
present were Hearing Officer Roland Chamblee and Attorney Jessica Brock. Board members did not
discuss any subject matter other than the subject matter as specified in the Public Notice. The
meeting adjourned at 8:44 a.m.

The Board of Public Safety met in a Special Meeting at 8:50 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2015 with —
Board President John Collins and Board Members Eddie Miller, Luther Taylor, and Daniel Jones
present. Also present were Hearing Officer Roland Chamblee, Attorney Kevin Podlanski, Attorney
Stephanie Steele, Attorney Jessica Brock, and Attorney Elizabeth Bemis. The meeting was held in
the 13`' Floor Conference Room, County City Building, 227 West Jefferson Blvd., South Bend,
Indiana.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
HEARING OF DISCIPLINARY CHARGES — DAVID BEATY
This was the date set for the Hearing of the Charges against Sergeant David Beaty. There was a court
reporter from Midwest Reporting present to record the hearing.
